We liked the Beethoven BnB apartment very much, it was well equipped and centrally located in Oberursel im Taunus. As guests from distant Korea, we felt very comfortable not only because of the beautiful functional and central apartment, but also because of the friendly and helpful landlords. Admittedly, you first have to go to the 3rd floor - without elevator - but then you get into a spacious bright apartment that is much larger than the indicated square meters because it has slopes. The furnishing is good, a small kitchen, good to use with everything you need, a nice bathroom good and even a small library.
Free parking in front of the house and a super connection to Frankfurt by public transport.

Stay in June 2011 – I agree with all others who have rated this apartment very highly. I found it delightful and hope to use it again. The local train stop is only 1/2 block away and the grocery store only a few blocks away. Herr Borgfeld is extremely friendly, speaks English beautifully, and he is very helpful to his guests. The apartment is spotlessly clean with all equipment for a comfortable visit. SUPER!

Tomorrow we will enjoy the hospitality of Wolfgang Borgfeld in Oberursel for the third time. In a bright, tasteful, very functionally furnished and spacious holiday apartment in a very nice place near Frankfurt. We stayed at the Beethoven B&B in Oberursel for one week at the end of June, early July 2010. It was a perfect little flat with 2 bedrooms, comfortable bed, spacious bath, cute kitchen with all the essentials, and plenty of windows. 2 min walk to the U-bahn station and 10 min from downtown Oberursel.
Best of all was the generous hospitality of the owner, Wolfgang - always there to help us if needed.
Weather was mid 90 F in the day, but even without AC we slept cool (could be hot in there during the day). Otherwise, not a single complaint! Cost was unbeatable as well!!

Hospitality, good equipment, cleanliness & a super transport connection - whoever is looking for all this will feel like us. We needed a spacious apartment with good equipment & two bedrooms because four of us (one of us a baby) were looking for a place to stay during the Musikmesse. We found a beautiful, nicely furnished apartment with large bedroom (doible bed), small bedroom (single bed and baby bed), a nice living room with dining area and kitchenette & a nice bathroom! It was great!

My husband, my 7-year-old daughter and I spent four days here. The clean apartment is very well furnished and has everything you need. My daughter loved sleeping and playing in the single room. The apartment is located in a quiet area, not far from the beautiful old town. A supermarket and an organic food store are only a few minutes walk away. We thank Mr. Borgfeld for his hospitality. My mother and I had a wonderful stay at Beethoven Bed and Breakfast for 3 nights in November 2008. Wolfgang was the most gracious host and his apartment did not disappoint us in any way.
The apartment: Bright, very clean, two good-sized bedrooms (one single, one double) with armoires/dressers, open concept living area includes a very well-equipped modern kitchen, sofa, stereo and a small television set, very functional washroom with shower and storage cabinets, free wireless internet and cable, and lots of storage room for your personal effects.
Area: Very conveniently located 2 minute walk from subway and about 15 from the main train station, an easy 20 minute train ride to Frankfurt and from there, to anywhere in Germany! Oberursel is a very pretty historical town with some good shopping opportunities.

For the past 20 years I have been a regular attendee of the Frankfurt book fair. It is a wonderful event, and staying at the Beethoven Bed & Breakfast has made my time in Frankfurt even more enjoyable. The apartment is clean, comforatable & well-equipped. It is also very convenient for the excellent train service to all of Frankfurt including the Messe & the airport. Oberursel is a lovely town with good shopping, cafes & restaurants. Wolfgang is a charming & generous host and is always happy to help with local information, booking taxis, etc. I highly recommend the Beethoven Bed & Breakfast to anyone who needs a comfortable 'home-away-from-home' while working or holidaying in the Frankfurt area.

We stayed a week in this great apartment in Oberursel. Everything is new and very cozy and nice. Wolfgang (the owner) was extremely nice and helpful the entire stay, as he treated us to several excellent local beers and arranged our taxi to the airport upon early morning departure. My parents also loved the place and want to stay there next time they go to visit our family in Oberursel. I would strongly recommend this apartment to everyone!
